Katie Tebiscon is an emerging Anishnaabe artist from Timiskaming First Nation, QC. She began drawing as a young child and carried that passion into her young adulthood, where she first discovered her interest in painting during her final year of high school. Katie has since explored meaningful work in Social Services and Administration within Indigenous organizations and communities.

In recent years, Katie became a mother to a young daughter and moved through a deeply personal journey with breast cancer—experiences that shaped her commitment to living a life rooted in family, wellness, and creation. Her happiest moments are when she is painting, especially when she shares that love with her daughter
